Australian quarry owners produce a diverse range of natural stones including: granite, marble, sandstone and bluestone. The Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA) is the industry representative body set up to promote the use of Australian Stone both within Australia and Overseas. ASAA also works to develop standards of excellence in performance and product supply as well as providing information about the Australian stone industry. Members of the Australian Stone Industry are interested in developing relationships with Chinese stone importers. Recent tariff reductions on imported stone has made importing Australian Stone even more cost effective.
